Half day trip to the city of Novi Sad

The guide will take you from your accommodation in Belgrade to Novi Sad, comfortable modern coach for transportation, in about an hour's drive you will be on the spot in the small town of Sremski Karlovci, Previous Serbian capital of Vojvodina, where you will see the Patriarch Palace, the Church of St. Nikola and the first Serbian Gymnasium founded in 1791. One of the best sides of Karlovci is definitely the wine production and therefore you will have the opportunity to taste the local wines, then continue the journey to the medieval fortress of Petrovaradin-known as Gibraltar on the Danube where you can see the beautiful panorama of the whole city of Novi Sad. Then we will go to the center of Novi Sad where we will walk between the historic streets of Dunavska and Zmaj Jovina in the pedestrian zone. You will see the elegant town hall, the house where the wife of Albert Einstein, Mileva Einstein lived. You will learn about the history, tradition, architecture and cultural monuments buildings with beautiful facades decorated with various beautiful architectural elements following the charm of the European capital of culture in 2021. At the end of the tour, you will have a free time for your own needs-shopping, a walk, coffee , tea or something to eat. Then we return to Belgrade.
