The Jevremovac Botanical Garden in Belgrade, founded in 1874, is an urban oasis close to the city center.

It covers an area of hectares and collects more than 250 species of local, European and exotic plants. In addition to the open space, the arboretum includes a greenhouse and a Botanical Institute. The greenhouse, built in 1892, is home to many tropical and subtropical plants. The Botanical Garden Library is one of the oldest and richest in the region, containing over 6,000 books.
