The Bayrakli Mosque

It was founded in the 16th century during the reign of the Ottoman Empire. It was built in a typical Ottoman style and is located in Gospodar Jevremová Street. The name of the mosque comes from the Turkish word Bayraklı, which means "with a flag". The mosque has one dome and one minaret. The dome is based on an octagonal tambour. It is entirely built of stone, only the minaret is made of brick. The windows are set high.
During the reign of Austria from 1717 to 1739, the mosque was converted into a Roman Catholic Church, which saved it from destruction. After the capture of the city by the Turks, it returned to its original function.
