TV tower on Mount Avala
Only 17 km from the center of Belgrade is one of the tallest buildings in the country TV Tower on Mount Avala with a height of 205 meters and was erected in 1965.
From that spot, you can enjoy stunning views and panorama of the whole city. This place exudes a magical touch of freedom, the picturesque landscape surrounding the tower stretches over a beautiful valley between the Rivers Sava and Danube. Avala is the perfect place to drink a coffee, relax and breathe in the fresh air.
Along the way to the tower there are also monuments dedicated to the Unknown Soldier and the Soviet delegation, whose plane crashed on the mountain in 1964.
